You are meant to CREATE

CREATE!! CONNECT!! CONTRIBUTE!!

Last night as I was laying in my bed these three words suddenly came to my mind, they quickly touched and connected to my heart. I started to understand and gather the importance of these things in my life and why I should cultivate these things more.

To CREATE means to bring something into existence.

To CONNECT means to join two or more things together.

To CONTRIBUTE means to give something in order to help achieve.

I think I might have just found the driving inspirational words for my life. I’m learning now more than ever just how important these three things are for our mental and spiritual health and our world as a whole. Once I started to look at them I began to be able to piece them together and to see how they go together.

First thing first we are creators. We have a powerful almighty creator who made us in his image. We are creators. The world wouldn’t be where it is today if we were not and if we were not given the ability to create. When thinking about myself as a creator I find more value in myself because with creating something new a new door is open. We hold keys for future generations by in that which we create. We are cultivating new spaces and new ideas to be given out to those after us and in that we can create it to be a space that is lifegiving and freedom giving. This space to create is sacred and beautiful, it is without a doubt the very thing that keeps the world new and thriving. Our maker who is the almighty creator spoke life into existence and created this world we live in today. This is simple but yet so intricate, detailed, and complex but yet we get to do the same thing. By speaking life into others through encouragement, through creating new ideas and throwing them out to the world to be seen and heard.

I don’t want to get to deep and complicated on this topic of what it looks like to create or be a creator, I want to simply point out the fact that we get to do this. We get to control what we create and how it impacts others. What a cool concept that is. We can’t let this act die, we need to cultivate it in our own lives and understand the importance and value it holds to be somebody who creates. By cultivating in it my life I get to in turn share and touch somebody else while connecting with them on a deeper level.

I am learning recently how my voice matters, how what I have to say and my thoughts and ideas are valuable. For so long I have robbed myself and others because of my inability to speak out my new ideas. My ideas matter, they are valuable, and one day they may be the key to a breakthrough. By allowing myself to be a creator, one who will make something new or teach something new I will be given the opportunity to connect with others in new ways and to cultivate a new space that offers hope and restoration through Jesus.

Connection is inevitable! we need connection with one another, you’ve probably have heard this before. But how do we connect with others? There are a multitude of ways that we connect but the one that has been sticking out to me lately is through this act of creating. Through creating and sharing ideas and visions we can give an invite to others to connect with us while allowing them to cultivate and grow in their gifting’s. Deeper connection that can lead to a deeper and attainable goal and purpose, this is how we get to where we want to go. Most of the time we cant get to where we want to go alone.

The last C is contribute. How does this fit you ask? It’s simple. After creating happens then through that connection forms that will give a foundation to share and contribute what is meant to happen all along. It’s a chain, you cant contribute what you don’t create or have. When we get to this step I believe this is where the fruit is. This is the place where we give out and poor out. Once we are in the process of contributing we can see how the act to create in our lives is actually making a space for freedom and new things to be born.

When I think of these words in real life I think of an author. He / She creates something new that then turns into a connection with others either in their books, companies or audience. They then begin to contribute to the world what they have been given. This is a beautiful process that is blowing my mind lately. It blows my mind because I get to do this and I get to choose how I want it to be. You get to do this too but its easy to shut down the act to create without even noticing that you have done this.

We can not let the act to create die!!

Will you join me in activating your creative side? Will you share your ideas and say the things you want to say? Will you jump on board to something new?

will you join me today???
